Newer owner of this old tractor. On the oil pan I noticed that the oil level was not full. It seams to me that the oil fill would go into this bigger sized wing nut on the front right side of the tractor. Near the pulley. But was not sure. Any help?

Nathan ---

There is a big flat wing nut on the housing a head of the dist. or mag, near the fan pully.....that is where the engine oil is added.....the two spickets on the side of the oil pan is---bottom one open counter clock, if oil runs out level is safe..... top one add oil until oil runs out....drain plug on bottom of pan to drain.....filter on right side of engine..... .

That's the right place to fill it.

To tell if it is full open the top pitcock and fill until oil starts to run out of it.

A manual is worth it's weight in gold and they are available online several places.

HTH, Nathan
