Greetings,

I am in need of the correct wide mouth jar that I can use with my intake housing on a M. I am anxious to get one if anyone wants to part with one.

Exactly which is the correct Jar? Ball? Mason? Square shape or round?

thanks in advance,
Fred

I believe the correct jar is a "Ball Special" square in shape and one pint in size. They sell on EBay all the time and in the classifieds on this site. Rather expensive in both of these places. Bet you will find them after checking a few antique stores as I certainly did here in Missouri. They were a common canning jar when they were made in the 1940's and early 1950's.

burns ---

I was told right here on this site that those jars are just regular garden canning jars.....

Look around a store that sells canning supplies....

I heard WalMart had some....

You will not find a square shaped canning jar in any store, they have quit making them.

The correct jar will be a square shaped, Ball Special wide mouth, one pint. There was one on e-bay not too long ago, probably gone now. Keep watching.
