Haven't opened your sites yet, but went thru this ordeal a few years ago. Hunted around and found 2 sleeves to replace my pitted ones. Piston to sleeve clearance was fine. Check your curret clearances. That'll tell you if you need to be replacing other sleeves/pistons. A few pits won't be a bad thing. A large field of them will be, as it'll start to naw away on rings. How much are you going to run this thing? How hard are you going to run it? A lot of guys do a lot of unnecessary work on a tractor that will only be used in parades & such. Many of these tractors were working pretty hard in their later years and doing so with a lot of long time wear in the engine. Spend your money wisely.
