I would love to look at that tractor close up I have herd of a few odd tractors showing up that didnt" show up in any books before, do you have a picture from the rear of the tractor??

That engine looks a lot like the one in my McCormick 214A cotton picker. I think it is a black diamond engine.

Is the alternator a prototype also? It looks like you have got some shyster trying to pass off his fantasy as reality. Betcha the BS gets deep, fast when he starts blowing.

If it was made in 1931 it should be grey. I can't find any mention of a f-40 in Guy Fay's Experimental tractor book.

Don't know anything about an F-40, but don't forget that IH did build the McCormick W-40 standard tread. It used a six cylinder IH truck engine, and could be had in a diesel version.

Supposedly IH was considering an F40. Guy Fay might know more about it. There was a picture of a prototype in one of the tractor books, but CRS has set in and I can't tell you which one. I doubt that any prototypes survived.

Not as many tractors as last year, especially Internationals. Probably due to high fuel and the red power roundup being just a little over a month before.

Here again, ya just gotta love the engineering that went into that thing, cause it just looks neater than shut, but isn't that a way, way, way, way, aftermarket 6 cylinder than what was available in the 30's? Just love it though, Harley
