I am looking at a 1949 Farmall Cub which is in good condition. It runs and looks good.It has a belly mower attached. I have very little knowledge of old tractor values. Can anyone give me an idea what this tractor is worth?

That a tough one.

$1200- and up for the basic tractor in good condition. Cubs with equipment are advertised in the local papers in the $2300- range.

Thanks for your help Gene. This tractor appears to be very well taken care of and runs really well. The price is $2000.00, so it seems to be a good buy.

Thanks again.

Joe

Watched this one sell a couple weeks ago, $1375 +10% buyers commission for a grand total of $1512.50. Two bad tires and hadn't run in 3-5 years. Sitting where it blew the back tire. I was hoping to pick it up for $500. The only good thing about it was that it wasn't froze.

Minimum $1,000. With the belly mower at least $1,500 to $2,000. If it is really nice and you really want it, don't be afraid to go as high as $2,500.

Thanks for the help. This tractor appears to be very well taken care of and starts up immediately. I can buy it for $2000.00, so it sounds like a good buy.

Thanks again.
