My second tractor, an 826D has all but maxed out my storage capacity (a creaky 150 year old barn). Have any of you built one of the steel arch buildings (Quonset Huts). If so, any comments good or bad. They look easy to set up with minimal tools and equipment. Are they as easy to set up as they advertise? All comments welcome.

We've had one since the mid 70's. They're ok, but with the curve of the building down towards the sides it really limits the height of what you can store in them near the walls....If you're gonna make the investment you might want to look into a conventional steel building. They'll cost more, but that wasted floor space in an arch-style building adds up- especially if all you use it for is storage.

Friend has a Quinset hut for is shop. Water piped though the floor for heat, insulated, enough room for 4 tractors. He likes it, easy to heat, no worries about wind or snow load.

Might depend on your climate. Around here they sweat a lot.
