Is there anyone going to check out the IH show in Dalton, MN. Should be a good show with quite a bit to check out. It's called the Lake Region Pioneer Theasherman's Association if anyone wants to try search for it on the web. Also is anyone here going to Big Iron in Fargo next week. One of the guys at work had to bring some stuff up there and he said that there was a few Case IH stuff up there already getting set up.

I might make the trip to Dalton in the morning. I took my tractor to its first show at Atwater, Mn and seemed that peaple enjoyed the work I put into the old girl. Was kinda fun and rewarding. they have a nice little show there. Paul

I"m the IH feature chairman this year at Dalton. At 8 AM this morning I counted over 250 IH items (tractors, trucks, pickups, machinery of all kinds, milking items, household items, and that doesn"t even count well over 400 IH toys.
I will count again Sat. at 8 am & see how many came in during the day Friday.
Tonight the 1st Farmall 400 manufactured (serial # 501) came in from southern Minnesota. Several 1950 white Farmall C demonstrators, a TD 25 crawler, and an O-4 are just a few of the more unique ones here in Dalton, MN.
IH Collectors Chapter 15 & MINN-DAK Chapter 26 are having their annual show with us
Come on "up Nort" as the they say here.
The show continues Sat. & Sun.
I will post some pictures next week.
Wayne

Just got back from the show. It was the first show I've been to and I thought it was great. Turns out if I'm a freak for liking these old machines, then Minnesota is freakville, and also learned that my first restoration project holds up pretty well against everyone elses. Glad I got there at 8:00 instead of noon. A bit windy, but it kept the heat in check. Got a bunch of tickets for the C and met some nice folks at the IH building, but Fargo is just too far for the meetings for me.
