While reading Dave_Ct post below, I was wondering, with so many Chevy 6.2 Litre diesels around, has anyone heard of putting on of these in an M??? A lot of guys replaced those early Chevy diesels with gas. I had one in an 82, I hated it.

Here in the UK Perkins offerd a conversion kit using their P3 Diesel engine in the 1950s

Uh.... If you hated it in '82, why would you put it in a perfectly good H in 2005, 13 years later? I mean - "I gots ta' know...."

a perkins diesel is a good engine, not sure on duetz, as ive not had one, but a gm 6.2 is a good boat anchor and thats when its new, i dont know if they are even good for that used,all noise, no power and short life,whats wrong with the original engine in the h?
