Hi Guys,

Just had to go try 'er out.

Made one round across the bottom of a summer fallowed field. The tractor seemed to handle it pretty good, but then again, it hasn't rained here in 3 weeks so don't really know how it will do in the wet stuff next spring.

Is this what yours looks like, Casey?

same darn setup buddy!!!! looks good. you never know till you try. my 706 isn't the most healthy one around either. i do know i was running deeper than 2-3", more like 5-6" in plowed ground. like i have said earlier, my 766 is twice the tractor my 706 is. i just need to get rid of that old gasser with 13000 hrs on it and find me a real one with a german in it!

What gear did ya use? I thought it would pull it, our gas 656 Hydro had to pull our 12' one year when our 966 was in the shop. It couldn't go very fast, and we knew that the tractor didn't enjoy it, but it did a reasonable job. This is what the field I did with our 806 looked like after the first pass.

Hi Chadd,

I was in second and it seemed to handle it just fine. But, like I say, it was in dryland summer fallow.

Not nearly as tough going as you and Casey are talking about.

That's a darned good picture; I lightened it up just a touch.
