What is the correct way for the pre cleaner jar to be mounted? Jar front or rear?

I keep mine to the rear, have to keep the wind resistance down. :)

I just split the difference and have mine to the side. I think Grandpa would have kicked me in the butt if I put any thought into something like that. He'd say it works either way, now let's get back to work.

It is an accessory, Though quite common. They were put on every way possible and considered correct by the installer. Most I've seen are with jar to rear. There aren't any police on this (at least no leering or rude comments have appeared here yet, though they may show up now)

Wheeeew, was worried about those police. My red one is parked beside 2 big green and yellow ones, and around the corner from a red and grey one. Guess I can stop worrying now, thanks..... ..

I keep mine to the rear because of tree limbs,I like to keep some steel between tree and the glass.
