i need to start a B it has a dist and is 6 voltsystem has new batt cables and no other wiring.just need it to load -unload off trailer and drive short distance thanks in advance.

So I guess your asking how to hot wire it???
Well I'll also guess its + ground and then go from there. If + ground you run a wire from the - post on the battery to the coil, make sure you don't put the wire on the dist side of the coil. If that is done you now have it hot wired. To stop the engine you just pull the wire off the coil or battery, I prefer doing it at the battery since its close to where you sit.

Rich, to "hot wire" the ignition you need a temporary hot ungrounded battery voltage feed to the coils input supply (NOT terminal to distributor) terminal. That simply does the job of an Ignition Switch. Use caution n have it so you could disconnect quicky if needed without dead shorting that hot wire to frame ground. A big cable such as a jumper cable could be used to jump the starter if needed.
