The control unit for the 2 point and the ram were leaking hyd oil. I took them off and replaced about a zillion "O" rings. The 2 point control unit is the outside unit, the inside control unit has no operating lever but has a line that goes to the power steering. Now, the power steering doesn't work. I took it off again and can't find anything I put together wrong.
Can anyone help me out of this pickel?

There may be air in the system and needs to be bleed; and since its lost it's prime I would check the filter screen which is in the reservoir under the seat that too could need cleaning keeping the oil from getting thru.i had to bleed mine out at the top of the control valve hope you get it going. I tried what I understood you to suggest. Checked the filter on top of the reservoir, removed the plug from the control unit. This plug is on top of the Flow Control Value-pumped oil all over. Put the plug back in, no power steering.
However, I did find out that I do have power steering when I have the 2 point in the lift position.
More help please, I have wore out my IT shop manual, so now I am asking the best!
I am looking forward to any help I can get, and Thank You.

I think I got it, if anyone is interested. When I installed the control units back on the reservoir, I snugged them up good. Seems, that caused the control valve to bind up before it got to the top of the cylinder. I put new lock washers on the bolts and did not tighten them as tight and the power steering seems to work again.
