Are different size fast hitches interchangeable??

I wasn't aware there were two sizes of fast hitches until someone mentioned the Super C prongs are smaller. I looked at a fast hitch plow for my 300 Farmall. I didn't have a tape measure with me, but it seemed to have the same width between prongs, but they looked smaller in size. Is it possible to adapt (easily) the smaller fast hitch implements to a Farmall 300? I recall we used to have a two point post hole digger that had smaller prongs and we had some slide-in spacers that worked perfectly for our 560. Is this possible with all the smaller fast hitch equipment particularly a plow or is there more to this? Thanks

The width is the same it is the thickness that is differant. You can use a small fast hitch emplment on a large hitch but ya need the spacer bars to go under the prongs.

Or do a 3pt conversion, and bypass the whole problem. 2Pt equipment is hard to find, while adapting to 3pt is a little limiting, you'll find lots more stuff to fit!
