Anybody got a ballpark on the weight of one of these? How much trailer and how much truck is needed to haul one home? Can I pull it with my F-150 4x4 (aka the guzzler) with a two axle trailer?

I just hauled 2 tractors 500 miles on a 16" trailer behind a F150. One was a Farmall B and the other was a heavy Case C . No problems whatsoever. Just take your time and gear down going down hill to keep your brakes from heating.

Dave: I would expect right in the 2300 to 2500 lb. range. I can't see where the B would be any heavier than A or SA. My SA weighs 2350 with no weights, no fluid and no mein seat.

The B is usually more difficult to haul as result of the width. I remember a friend having to put a B he bought on trailer diagnol, putting narrow front tight to one side of trailer. I have no idea the size of his trailer bed.

Mine weighs 2140 pounds with no weight in the tires & no wheel weights. I have the pressed steel wheels, not the heavy cast ones.

Add to that weight, if yours has any of those things.

I haul mine on a 4,000 lb gross dual axle trailer with brakes, no trouble. I also use the equalizer bars & only have a V6. I don't go great distances (30-40 miles) either, but no problems with what I'm doing.
