The V stands for VEGETABLE. If you see an A and an AV side-by-side, the differences are blatantly obvious. An AV has much larger-diameter tires, and sits up way higher.

"Culti-Vision" throws many people for a loop. There is no difference between a "regular" A and a "Culti-Vision" A. It's just the name IH gave to the offset operator's platform because it allows you to easily see the row you're cultivating. "Culti-Vision" is a standard feature on A's B's, Super A's, Cubs, 100's, 130's, 140's and 274's.

The main difference between an A and an AI, or Industrial A, is the front end. It's built heavier for industrial use. Otherwise, same tractor.
