I have seen in ad photos where the fast hitch cylinder can be removed and placed on an implement to lift and lower it. My question is what do I use to hold the hitch up then. Or is there a way to add remote hyd quick connects to my tractor to work the cylinders already on the implements I need to use. A few weeks ago my big tractor died and since it"s a MM and near impossible to get parts for I"m not even gonna bother to fix it. I have a super M also that I am in the process of restoring but I need to plant next week and the super c is all I have. My hay field is 10 acres and I already used the super c to disc it a couple times. I pulled a 10 foot wide disc with it and still can"t believe it worked. I had to use first gear but the engine performed great and I had the traction. 2nd gear I kept spinning tires but the motor was not bogging. Anyway, My wheat drill is a 14 foot wide JD with a cylinder to lift it and I know I can pull it just fine with the super c but I will need to lift it to turn.

ANY IDEAS????? ?

Measure the distance from pin to pin in the cycl when the hitch is at the height desired to pull the drill. Then drill two holes in a piece of metal 1/2x2 that dimension. Block the drawbar at desired hieght and remove the cycl and remove the cycl. Replace with the piece of metal then you can add enough hose to go the drill. why not put quick couplers on the cycl and make up new hoses to reach the drill. Then you can use the cycl in future for other purposes. Just remember there is a retarder in the line by the seat support so the drill will go down slowly but whats the hurry. 3/8 hose will be large enough to move the drill as thats the size of the lines running to the cycl now. good luck have fun. Now you can put the cycl on the disc.
