Does anyone have any information on the tractor show which is usually held around mid September in Republic, Missouri??? I have checked the show listings in Red Power and this site's show schedule but have not seen it listed. Would like to know if it is being held this year and what are the dates and the show site. Thanks to anyone who has any information on this show as I would like to attend. Thanks, Hal

Go to steam-o-rama.com(or as it is typed in the name above) and you can find out about the show, dates, and the feature tractor. The dates are September 15-18 for this year. The show is usually a pretty big show with lots of tractors and venders. They have a classic pull on Friday night and a antique pull(38 or earlier) on Saturday night. There is a name and number you can call for more info. They are right on Hiway 60 just north of Republic, about 2 miles and there is a stop light just north of the grounds that has a gas station.See you all there. Dale, thanks for sharing the website address as it has the show details. Will try and attend but don't know on which dates. Have heard in the past this is a good show to attend. Have you attended this show before or are you a member of the organizations putting the show on? Thanks again. Hal

Jimmy, thanks for trying to get the information on the show. I heard about it last year but was unable to attend as I had to keep the concrete wet for my then new tractor shed. You'll see it next weekend when you stop by. I like Harley's idea of getting together for a evening meal somewhere in the area. Thanks and I'll see you next Sat.

Hey, Jimmy and Paul and others, maybe we can get the powers that be rolling between now and then and meet at the show like Nebraska Cowman did at RPRU. I's never been to this show, but am only about 10 miles away so will go this year. Let's get something set up. Harley

Harley, I really like your idea as the evening out in Lebanon that Howard set up at Lebanon was a great time together. Meeting the Cowman and the rest of the folks was quite special - I had a Mastercard for everything else. Will try and look for you and I'll wear my Red Power hat from Lebanon. Thanks and have a good one. Hal

Just got another idea. Ifn everybody wants, I'll make up a small sign on a stake that says "Yesterdays Tractors Friends" or something on Saturday and stick it in the ground by a tree and set up our folding chairs there and everybody can see it and meet if they want. Nothing too elaborate that way we don't have to have a committee, board of directors, bylaws, rules of order, membership dues, initiation, etc. Just stop by and say howdy. Let me know, Harley

Hal, I haven't seen any listings on it yet, I will try to find out for you. It is usually the second weekend I think.
