Appreciate all the input you all provided for a plow for my 300 Farmall for a large garden. Didn't have any success at the auction, but I just noticed an upcoming sale bill that has an IH two bottom fast hitch plow. I'm curious of any experience any of you have had with this type of plow. I've used a IH semi-mounted plow and a Case pull type plow and both worked well. The neighbors 3 point JD was a POS that wouldn't go into the ground. Any similar problems with the fast hitch? Thanks

Make sure you are getting the right fast prongs which fit your tractor. These two bottom plows were also made for the Super C/200 tractor and had the small prongs. You might have a lot of rework to do if you buy the wrong size prongs.

I have a 3-bottom Fasthitch plow.. Use it on my 300 U

It Just Works...

You should have no problem with a 2-bottom either Fasthitch or 3pt (like a Dearborn or Ford)... They all work well on the 300.

I have a 2pt. 2 bottom plow for my 340 Farmall with coulters and use it at the annual plow days . Works great. I have another 2 pt. 2 bottom 16 inch for the Farmall 300, Restored like new plows well. Have a 2pt. 2 bottom rollover plow that I just got ,have not used yet but hope next spring to get in the ground, and I just bought a 3 bottom 2 pt for the 560 or 400 that is all ready to go. With the down pressure of the fast hitch you can pretty much make them go where you direct them. Just keep good sharp points on them and they will suck right in. Migraine
