I've found that the diff-lock foot switch is frozen on my 826. The I&T manual doesn't show it in detail (typically worthless... but I'm shopping for a factory style manual). Anything tricky about that control valve? Can I take it apart, clean it up and reassemble it with new o-rings without an exploded view, or should I? Many thanks!

Jim, there's nothing fancy in that valve, just a spool, a spring, and a couple o-rings.

Heck Jim,

Why not just doctor it good with a little Liquid Wrench? They rust up where they go in the bore from lack of use.

Betcha you can bust 'er free without even turnin' a wrench.

Thanks Allen,

Yeah, I figured on doing that first, but thought I'd ask so I could tear into it right away if I needed to.
