My super A isn't equiped with a water pump[thermosiphoned].But at yesterdays tractors they have one listed and I was wondering if it was a self contained unit that could be adapted to a 1952 super A!

I have a B with the same engine. During August in the heat my tractor never runs hot. My neighbor put a temp. guage on his and it runs between 165 and 180 depending on time of year. Clean the system, should be fine. 53 years of use and now you want to change it? You couldn't find a tractor made today that will last as long or built as well as that old farmall. Good luck.

Yeah, if it is complete including the outlet (unlikely) so you will have a place for the thermostat. You also need to change the head gasket.

The bigger question is why do you want to?

The piece missing may be a iron casting that adapts the pump to the engine. Gotta have it, a longer belt, and a thermostat. Good luck not hard. Clean all surfaces to metal to avoid cracking th new parts.
