Is it possible for someone to provide me guidance on "How to install & adjust brakes on 1941-1943 Farmall H. I put new brake bands in but cannot get the brakes to work. The arm on the outside portion of the system seems to work in the opposite direction. You push down and you can turn the wheels, when you pull the arm back you cannot turn the wheels. Any help would be appreciated. The shop manual I have doesn't help much. Obviously I am not a mechanic. Thanks

I think you have the band attachment points reversed. My best guess W/O pictures.

Looking at the left side, the cam should pull the top of the band down, and the bottom of the band up when applied. Maybe you have the cams reversed, right side for the left?
