Cream Separator Expertise?

Gentlemen: We recently acquired an electric IH McCormick 3-G cream separator built in 1959 to use to separate our naturally homogenized goat milk. All of the parts that contact the milk are made of stainless steel, but some of these are assembled with what appears to be solder. It "flowed" smoothly and can be scratched with a finger nail.

Does anyone know if this is solder that contains lead, cadmium or another hazardous metal?

The operator's manual for the machine doesn't list component part numbers. Any idea where these numbers could be found?

Also, the part number for one of the O-rings (listed on a packet that came with the machine) is no longer "active" on the IH dealer system. Any idea who might still have some of the gaskets, etc. for this machine?

Thanks very much for your thoughts.
