Did Farmall make a Super450, and if so what are the differences if any between it and a 450 regular.

No, IH did not make a "Super" anything after the Super A/C/H/M production ended in 1954. After that, it was strictly numbers, no supers.

The 450 was the end of the line for the design family that started with the M in 1939. You could say that the "next development" of the 450 was the 560, but the 560 really is a mostly different tractor.

Actually, some of the Farmall M design and tooling lasted until the 686 ended production.

I have heard that the differential was the same in the 560 as what was on the M/Super M/400/450 which caused problems that led to the decline of Farmall's overall popularity in the late 1950's and 1960's. (560 had almost double the horsepower as the M, but the same rear-end gears were used)

The problem was not with the gears, the problem was with the bearings. The bearings were not designed to handle the amount of side load that the larger plows and discs would be placed on the tractor.

The 450 was an update of the 400 which was an update of the Super M. I"m not sure what the 450 developed into.

m+w made the "super 450" with their hi-torque crankshaft and 4 1/4" turbo dome pistons.
