856 hydraulics

OK, need a little help here.

I have an 856 with a single hydraulic valve. I have a new (to me) Koyker K5 loader. I have a new joystick valve to hook up to run the loader, and I do not want to use the existing valve to feed the joystick. I have pulled off the seat and I see a plug to the left of the single valve. I think this plug goes into the valve for the 2 point. There is also a plug on the side of the same valve. Just to the front of the back bolt hole in the picture. Can I plumb my joystick valve in here? If not here, is there another way besides using the single valve to feed the joystick??

Thanks

Rob

Heck,

I'd simple this whole process up and just put on a PTO pump and a tank. That leaves your tractor's hydraulics free.

I thought of that Allan, but I don't want to use that poor old 540 pump off an equally old cyclo air 400. Besides, that kind of gets away from the Quick attach nature of the loader, and if I use the tractor for other things next spring like planting 24 acres of beans, I need the pto for the aforementioned Cyclo air 400 and I might need more than one outlet for things like a 470 disk pulling a sprayer.....

As I understand it, you would need the "power beyond" end plate that covers the valve stack on the right in that picture (left as you sit on the seat). Problem is, you also need a different valve because that one doesn"t have the removeable end plate like the early "06s did.

I"m afraid you can"t plumb it without going through the existing valve.
