I am looking for a 9 or 1066 and have a couple spotted in an Illinois auction. I was wondering if anyone can tell me the value of these tractors at a auction? I don't know the exact condition on the tractors yet, but ball park figures would be appreciated! Thanks alot!

I bought a 1066 hydro, on a farm sale in 1998 for 12,100. It had 3500 actual hours factory cab and air. Tractor looks like new.

I bought my 1066 a year ago for $7000. I heard one down the road from me sell 10500 this spring.

IHPuller, I just saw a good looking 1066 sell in southern Illinois and it brought 11,900 if I remember right. There was a 1466 right next to it that only brought around 9,000. There were a couple of 560s that brought 4000 a piece. So, it is hard to tell what the 10 will bring. Good luck

It is a wide range, anywhere from $2000 for scrap to $12,000 or more for a really nice one. I would say about $8000 for one in good mechanical and cosmetic condtion with decent rubber. That is in my area of western WI.

I can buy a 966 with a weak hydro and bad tires for $2200. I sold a good 966 that I had about 3 years ago for $6500. A couple of guys on this site put a value of $5500 on a 966 or a 1066. I have a good 1066 thatw e just put a new clutch in that I would sell for $5500. Also I have seen them priced up as high as $12,500 in our area.

I bought a 1975 model with a front end loader and duals for $4500. It's had approximatly 200 hours put on it in the last 13 years. Only problem is that didn't have the adapters to mount the duals. Changed fuel filters due to algae in the tank.
