Punch below for a few images from the 2005 "Pageant of Steam".

I visited from 9 AM to 7 PM Friday and didn't get to see it all. A fine show as always!!

Nice pics, I especially like that Farmall regular. I might be able to talk the wife into getting one but I doubt she would let me get that attachment on the drawbar!

As always you take some great photo's . I live not all that far from you. I was there on Saturday. Went to the Farm Expo on Wed and the auction on Thurs Night . Boy! did people pay to much for some of the stuff. I was bidder 1463.

Thanks again for your great collection of pictures

Bob, pic 29, what is the story behind the horse power haybaler in the infield? looks like way too modern baler to be hooked to a horse sweep.

Cowman - There's actually 2 bailers in the background of that image. The nearer one is flat belt driven from an F-12. Hidden behind it is an older hay press powered by the horse sweep.

Incidentally watching this stuff at work gives one a healthy appreciation for the relative ease with which we bale and store straw today! ...Bob M

Thanks for sharing the photographs. I think my favorite is the Mogul plowing. I used to live in Ithaca when I worked for Cornell, and I remember Canandaigua.
