Finally finished restoring grandpa's tractor! I've got to admit kind of a letdown! Now what am I gonna do with my time!?! Just kidding, need a break. It is worth it, especially see the look on Dad's face seeing his father's tractor looking better than new! More than worth the effort! Gotta admit got a little emotional myself! This tractor isn't going anywhere but in the family! I guess I'll have to get some implements so I can use it! Don't think I want to re-use the old trip bucket loader that was on her. Rough shape and i don't care for the design! Mounts on bellhousing and I think to much strain on frameless tractor. I really appreciated all the help I recieved on this board and others! I admit to being a lurker but reading all the posts and answers you guys gave was a great way to learn! The fews times I posted got some good info and I actually answered a couple of posts myself if I had clue! Thanks! Scott!

If it runs half as well as it looks, you have one fine tractor there. Nice job!!! Now what are you going to do for an encore?

Actually, since I've finished and have a picture on My desk, all my contractors comment on it and several have said they have an old family tractor or implements in barns or fields and have offered them real cheap or free! Got to be careful or I'll be overwhelmed with work! Guess I'll have to pick a new project anyways!

Yes I did, need to work it hard to get it warm! These 140's run on the cool side, about halfway in the green zone. Never got it near the run arrow yet and it gets warm around here! But I feel better with the gauge anyways! Thanks for asking! Scott
