Ditto to what the others have said, a fine tractor! They were updated in following models, the 434,444,and 384. We use a 444, and 384 on our farm still. Our 384 has around 12000-15000 hours on it and still runs like a clock. It did have an engine rebuild at around 9000 hours due to a broken cam.

Hi Mike,
My Dad bought a B414D in 1962 and put over 10,000 hrs on it before upgrading to a 454D in 1974. Great tractor, brakes required anual cleaning, required a good battery plus block heater to start in cold weather.

The IH B414 tractor was built at IH Bradford works in the UK from 1961 till 1965. The BD154dl diesel engine was rated at 42HP. This was the first tractor built by IH in the UK with draft & position control hyd lift called varitouch. Im shure you will enjoy your tractor from our side of the pond regards MJ

I have a gas B414, and really like it. It"s a great utility tractor. Feel free to send an email with any questions you have. Ron
