I have a 1939 F-20.When I changed the rearend oil I was told to use 90wt to replace it. Since then most of the seals started to leak. I have replaced the packing in the PTO, Belt pulley,PTO shift lever, and the small drive shaft. All of these areas continue to leak fluid out. I was told to go to a heavier weight oil to slow or stop the leaks. If this is possible, what weight of rearend oil should I use?

I don't know. I suspect the new oil contains a detergent that might be part of your trouble. Can you tighten the packings? I would wonder if you used enough packing too. Is there room to add more? I've never had muck trouble with them leaking.
