Changing out fluids in my 47M. 52 quarts in rear end and transmission. What weight oil is recommended for northern climate? Where is the drain plug for rearend and transmission? 6 quarts for hydraulics? Where is the drain plug for hydraulics. What is the best way to refill transmission, rearend, and hydraulics? Is it best to remove the pulley assembley and fill everything from there? I thank you inadvance.

Pull the wheel off the belt pulley. A good bit of water will come out of there, Save about a quart of transmission oil to put in the top of the belt pully. The M takes 13 gallons of 80-90 transmission oil. Walmart is the cheapest place to get this. If you change all the fluids , you will have about $200 in it.

I would drain the trans and then put 8 gal of diesel in it and run it down the road a mile to get everything out. save the diesel for your next bonfire. you will be supprised at how much crap comes out...

The trans i used 80w90, the drain plug is under the pto shaft. to fill there is a plug in the trans cover to the right of the steering pedistal 3/4'' square drive. drain for the hydraulics is on the right rear on the bottom of the pump square drive, i think its 9/16 wrench. the fill is right behindthe belt drive right side, unscrew cap and threr should be a dip stick. That should be it. Anymore questions let us know
