I have a few questions about the 39 F-20 I am restoreing right now. I am going to replace the packings for the pto and belt pulley, how tight do I retighten them when I replace them? from the factory were the grease zerks painted over or were they installed after it was painted? Is there a good source for parts for the mag? I am in need of a new cap and points and such. Is there a good picture book that would show exactly were the decals are place on the tractor? Thanks for any help. Paul

If the mag is an F4, Borg Warner has points, P/N
HS5 and condenser P/N HG2, coil E108. They don't have a cap for the F4, but if the mag is an H4
They have cap, points, rotor and the E108 coil.

Their toll free number is 1-800-566-8334 and they're located in IL. They can probably give you a distributor in your area. NAPA has a mag ignition parts too. Hal

I have a manual with my F-20... It showed me where the decals went... but my manual isnt original... It is for about 50 farmall tractors... I think that the grease zerks were put in afterwards.. but that is a good question...
