My father-n-law had a Farmall. The sis-n-laws sold it and now I found a set of tracks and a sickle bar mower for it. I was looking to find information on these items. Right now all I have are the tracks I need to find out what the rest of it looks like so I can find it before the sis-n-laws sell it too. The bar mower is rusting away in head high weeds.
Will these items fit, or be made to fit, on my MM ZASI?

With enough ingenuity, tools, and materials, ANYTHING is possible. How easy will it be? That's another question.

For the half tracks, there will be an axle with tires on it to spread out and tension the tracks. Normally this is mounted under the belly of the tractor. There may also be one or two sets of "bogey wheels" to spread the weight of the tractor out on the tracks.

Thanks for the info. I'll start looking around, but the weeds are high and the bears are out. LOL I live in Alaska. Yah I hear ya, ANYTHING is possible. I was in a hurry and didn't think about what I was writing. I got to thinking about how I asked the question and thought to myself "How dumb was that question?" ...DUH
Just the name "Half Tracks" will be a big help. Now I know what to call them. As you can probably tell I'm not a farmer, but I live for Old Iron.
Thanks again
Fat Dan

Would you have, or know of, a picture of a half track setup?

I have a set of Arps Half tracks identical to the picture above. What can't be seen in that picture is where the front idler attaches. It pivots off the rear axel housing. Two frabricated U-bolts hold the pivot. The leg from the pivot to the idler uses 3" pipe (I think). The chief difference between tracks for a H and a M sized tractor is the number of grousers. Three less for the smaller tractor. I can count mine if you want to know what you have.
