The aftermarket carb kits that I purchased this year for M SM etc. are missing the packing for the high speed adjusting screw.Went to NAPA and purchased kit, even though it was same # kit that in past contained the packing,in the latest kit
from NAPA it is missing.Anyone else having this trouble?

I buy all of my kits from NAPA, the packing is always included. This icludes 2 kits purchased in July.

Will check NAPA to see if just a mistake in last kit.the other kits were tisco. At RPRU I looked at
tisco kits at 2 venders and they contained no packing even though trottle shaft and other parts were included in kit.Bought 3 packing for screw from case IH 2 months ago, around $3.90 each mailed.

You can buy the packing seperatly from a Case/IH dealership, it's about $2.

Dont know about the Napa kits, but the kits I get from my local parts guy has the packing. Its kind of a generic kit for Hs and Ms,contains gaskets for both so I ususally end up with a set for one or the other. It has the gaskets, packing, needle and seal and thats it.I think its a Standard kit, been fortunate enough to only need those type of kits.
