Were all of these gas 454 utilities built in England?

All of the 454,574 and 674 gas tractors were built at Louisviile in the U.S. I believe they used a "skid" unit from doncaster that gave them the transmission and rear end along with the front axle. The diesel versions of those tractors for the U.S. market were also done at Louisville, and I think the motor came with the skid unit from Doncaster. In Canada, the diesel tractors were imported complete from Doncaster and after 2 or 3 years of diesels only, they finally imported the 464,574 & 674 gas versions from Louisville.(IH never sold the 454 gas in Canada) As someone else mentioned. on the diesel, if it has an all Delco electrical system, it.s U.S. made. The last part of the puzzle is that the fenders, hoods, grilles, etc. were slightly different as the U.S. made thier own tinwork.

Hi, I believe some may have been assembled in the U.S. The difference was the electrical system, If it had Lucas generator then it was UK build and assembled, if it had Delco then it was built in UK and assembled in U.S.
