Has anyone seen a U-shaped drawbar like this on a Super C before? I first thought it came off of an H, but it is about 2 1/2 inches narrower. It fits right on the axle housing and if someone cut one down off af an H, they sure did a good job because I can't see the weld.
Just curious,
Paul

I have a 49 model with the bar that is on the center of yours but not the one attached to the axles. It has been in my family since new and has never had a bar like that. I thoguth I"d add it for what its worth.

You sure it's narrower? I bought a C with that drawbar on it, the previous owner had a sickle mower bolted on it. I put that same drawbar on my 460 Hi Utility (same rear end as the row crop), to pull it out of my building when I had the fast hitch off. It fits perfectly. Thus the U part will bolt on everything from the C to the 460.

Looks just like the drawbar we had on our SC.

I recognize the drawbar as the same, but I had never seen one with the U-bar. I didn't realize they made them like that. I learn something every day (wich isn't too hard, since I'm not too smart to start with) ;)

Ours had the same set up you have on yours. We used the U bar to mount a JD #5 mower.
