The oil pump got bigger at some point, not sure when that happened, but the big one would be a good idea. You"ll want to add the second set of piston cooling oil jets. I wouldn"t worry about the head unless you want to get really carried away.

DAR,

With that number, you've already got a turboed engine (probably a replacement?).

I'm with the other poster. Why in the world would you want to put a blower on it?

Total waste of time and money; just crank 'er up a turn.

More fan blades, piston oil squirters, the nine has a high swirle head the 1066 has a low swirle head.Thats about it unless you want to put a turbo on it, if you do one off a 1066 will work but you will have to use a 1066 fuel tank.

Why would you want to do this? If you need more power just turn up the pump. Also, be careful that you aren't putting in more HP than the trans can handle. The 414/436/466 are for the most part bulit proof but the IH trans was the week point. At stock power they were fine but turn it up too much and you'll be rebuilding the trans. Yhe biggest problem was when you put duals on and loaded the tires up with balast and weights.

If you really want to do it look at the parts book from a 1066 for what you need. Be careful the turbos had some additional cooling / oiling features the non turbo didn't have.
