If you intend on pulling the sleeves, all 4 pistons are stuck, will the piston and rod come out the top? I read earlier that the rods will not come out through the sleeves, will they come out through the block bore? Thanks!

If your pistons are stuck,do like we do and drive sleeve and all out the top, then press the pistons out of the sleeves (carefully)install new rings and hone the sleeves and reinstall them. You can have some pitting in the sleeves and still be ok,this I know because we have 3 or 4 this way.

the sleeve will come out with piston and rod if they are stuck. 4" bore pistons will come out the top with the rod.

They say the pistons can be removed on the F-20
without pulling the head. I would pull the head and measure the sleeve bore and the width of the rod cap to see if will clear. Pour some transmission fluid into each cylinder and let it soak. Hal
