I rebuilt my carb and now it leaks around the fuel line connection to the fuel screen fitting. Did I lose something or did I just take it off one to many times. I appreciate any suggestions.

Wrap some teflon tape around the backside of the
ferrule. Get the tape in the pink spool, it's for oil, gasoline and natural gas. I got mine from Home Depot. Hal

You could also try using a pipe dope called Gasoila. Just coat the tube fitting threads on the carburetor, then install the compression nut.
Website for it is: federalprocess.com Hal

Did you have a compression fitting, and replace with a tapered pipe fitting? If it's a compression fitting, maybe it's been compressed one too many times, and no longer seals.

It is a compression fitting. It looks ok but I think you are probably correct I took ir off one to many times. Thanks, Al
