Anyone know where I can find a inner rockshaft (part number 363 217 R11)for a Farmall 100 or 140 with Fast Hitch (non Fast hitch model won't fit). There is a forward and a rear hole setting and my tractor had it in the rear hole. I checked around and most people had theirs in the front so I changed mine up and sure enough, while chisel plowing, I got caught up on something and the pressure pulled back on the lift link arm and somehow chewed up that hole. (see picture). I am wondering if I had some other setting incorrect since I thought that the pressure should never get all the way to the front rockshaft if you have helper springs (I have one on the bail as well as below the lift link arm).
Here are links to two other photos

Ramon: That hole can be fixed. My 130 was every bit as bad 15 years ago. Fixed it and it's been going ever since. I suspect your biggest problem was the spring of the clip that hold pin in place. If that pin get out half way it doesn't take long for that to happen. Another item that will do it is the wrong pin.

Hugh, Firstly, how did you fix it? That hole got extended pretty far out to the right, it's probably double it's normal size. As far as how it happened, I don't quite understand how the spring of the clip that holds the pin in place would be related. In fact, that pin (you can barely see it in the pictures) was indeed slightly bent, but it's so small, that I can't see how it could be related to the forces that gouged that hole so wide. I would think it just would have sheared (much easier to replace). It is definitely the right pin as I ordered it new from IH.

Thanks!! Ramon

Ramon I'm not speaking of small pin within the spring. My point the spring tension was weak thus it didn't hold the larger pin in place. the fellow that fixed my rockshaft filled in the hole by welding then redrilled it. He then turned out a pin on lathe with very slim head put it in the oposite way with a cotter pin on inside. that hitch lift has always been a bit troublsome on those.
