I am working on getting an H going again, and would like to ask if anyways knows if a 350 transmission/rear end can be used on an H. I am just worried about the transmission, and not the Live PTO. I can't quite get a clear picture from my I&T Manuals. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I will preface with I haven't done this myself, but the engine should bolt up. This is how most people start to get a fake SH-TA (300 or 350 rear). I would use the tranny and the clutch housing from the 350 to have the least amt of trouble. Probably need the 350 flywheel/pressure plate/clutch as well, then you could have the TA and IPTO as well. Unless your H motor is a late model the live hyd pump won't bolt up to the front cover though.
