What are the dimensions of the prongs that would fit my 300 ute fast hitch? I have access to a pattern cutter so I could crank out a few of these if I had the specifications. I also heard that there are two sizes, and if this is true where would I take a measurement to tell what size I have?

Thanks, Joe

Joe: your 300 will use the large fork. To use a small fork on your tractor hitch one must use a 1/2" filler plate under the fork on each side. That is the 1/2" gab is speaking of.

I made some of these large forks and used 1-1/8" x 3" steel. Worked well, but was hard obtaining the taper on the sides. If I were doing it again I would use 1" thick material and weld on a wear plate at large end.

Pull your drawbar, lay it on it"s side on a sheet of paper and trace it. The point for the small hitch like a Super C is a half inch shorter, top to bottom. Jim
