What is the capacity of gear lube for a Farmall H? It has a belt pulley. Does that make a difference?

Thanks

Ron,The pulley oils by splash and tracking through the gears from the transmission if I remember right. It has a place to add but to drain you barely loosen the end bolts.Definately needs to be drained because for some reason it traps water and can effectively freeze solid and act like a trans brake on bitter cold days.Save a pint or so of your 6 gallons of 90 wt. to add to the pulley when finishing up.Hope this helps,Chris in SeMo.

The transmission and differential housing holds approximately 6 gallons. The belt pulley is separate.
