I was baling with a few weeks back and broke one of the needles on my 430 baler. I got a new needle and put it on, but when I try to adjust it, the needle moves to the inside of the bale chamber and ends up rubbing on the chamber. I have tried to move it all the way out but it keeps moving to the inside. I took the other needle off and tried it on the problem side and it does the same thing. I can't really see any spots where it is bent or anything. I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem and might know how to remedy it. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jon, was the needle by a collision with the plunger? If so are you positive that the needle carriage is not bent? Had one bend on an IH 46 baler many years ago.
