I was looking for a rebuild kit for carb on my 1946 A. It is a Zenith brand with "B2" engraved on it. Is that the only identification numbers on it?

I went to my local NAPA parts store and they had a kit on the shelf. Cheaper then the dealer. Works great!

If your local Case/IH dealer doesn't have a kit,
send an email to carbkits@cox.net or call them at 607-829-8321. Hal

You can take the whole carb to the dealer if you want. The kit that goes in it is determined by the appearance of the fuel bowl with the throttle body removed. Actually all you need is the gasket to compare with the pictures on your dealers computer. You likely have a 161 x 7 or a 67 x 7. Most of the parts in the kit for each are the same, the gaskets are different. The jets used will depend on the individual model number, but the kit probably won't have jets anyway.

Your Case/IH dealer should have it or be able to get it. Dave
