B275 Stalling Problem

I have been struggling with my 1962 B275 for the past 3 months trying to find out why it stalls when going uphill. It revs up and then usually stalls. The tractor then has to be reprimed to start. I have cleaned all lines, tank, sediment bowl, checked all fittings for leaks and have found nothing. Next step is a rocket launcher if I can't figure this thing out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a B250 and wondered why someone put a small electric fuel pump on it and removed the original.
I think you may have answered my question. The small in-line pump works fine and may be the most economic solution.

Gas or diesel If its diesel i would look at the fuel lift pump The pump valves may be worn and will not push the fuel up to the injection pump when going uphill MJ

I tried to post a followup to your message yesterday but it never appeared so I will try again. When you refer to the lift pump, are you talking about what is sometimes called the primary pump? That is the pump on the right side, (looking forward from the seat) with a primer handle on it? I am only aware of the injection pump and the primary pump. If an electric pump were to be used, would it just be connected between the lines and bypas the old pump that is mounted to the block? Forgive my ignorance but I know very little about these things. Hope this message gets posted.
Thanks
Bob
