I just had the fly wheel off my F-20 and when I reinstalled it I noticed there there is a little up and down movment in the rear bearing. Is this normal or a sign of a bad bearing? Thanks Paul

If I recall correctly, F-20's have ball bearing mains. I would think any noticeable movement should be investigated.

If you're referring to the rear main it should only have from .002"-.003" clearance. If it is you drop the oil pan and check the clearance with
plasti-gage. Inspect the crankshaft too> Hal
