Try again. Have a 49 cub and what looks to be a L42 belly mower (mower is approx 42 wide, single blade, 8 sided deck, B-138 v-belt). How does it hook up to the final drives on tractor, what parts of the hitch can I use, what holes do I use. Help, Dennis has dropped lots of rain and the grass is going wild.

Like El Toro said, that mower is not for a cub. Check the chart (cut and paste the link) for applications. Woods mowers for a cub will typically a have a C in the model number (42 C)

Big Dog, went to the Farmall Cub home page and there were 5 pictures showing the mower mounted. Sure does look like mine. Only said L42 since JP Parts had a picture under cub equipment that called it a L42 and while simular on second look mine is lot more like the one on the Cub home page. Anyhow, I think I got what I need.

The L42A Woods mower is for an A,100.130, 140 & Super A. I would call Woods to see if that mower can be installed on a Cub. Try 1-866-869-6637 to see if they can answer as to whether it can be installed. I don't see the L42 listed unless its an older model. Hal
