After rebuilding the engine of my sleeping Super C I split it to replace a broken pressure plate to find a bent yoke and clutch rod and a loose and very worn guide sleve. When I turn the clutch shaft I can feel bearing damage. I have another SC back half I bought for the fast hitch that the guide sleve is tight and no bearing damage when I turn the clutch shaft. My question is can I tell which rear end is in the best shape. The one with the fast hitch I can turn each axel by hand in each gear and it feels ok. Advice on how to move one rear end out of the way and put the other in place would be appreciated. I have an M with a very heavy boom that can lift it, but not travel with it (too light in the front) Thanks Marvin

The easiest way is to block up the rear end and swap engines.
