I have an old M tractor with a F11 loader and without a live pto. I would like to make my loader live. Does anyone know where I can get the pump?

I put a live pump on my M to run the loader and the 3 point. The pump will cost you about $300, but that is just the begining. Hoses, fittings, spool valves, filter, will run up the cost. I think I have about $1500 in my set up. But it sure make a nice tractor. I have a lot more in the old M than she is worth, but I sure like to drive her. You can also run power steering off the live pump.

You might try Mike @ Steel Wheel Ranch, 785-548-7437, or Bates Corp, 800-248-2955. You will enjoy the live Hydraulic. Boyd

You may enjoy the live hydraulic, but you won't enjoy how much it's going to cost you to do the conversion, and how much work it is.

An IH live pump will require you to change out the front cover and timing gears on the engine if it's an early enough M (built before 1950, I think).

None of the parts come cheap either. You'll probably end up spending as much as the tractor is worth, plus you'll have to tear the tractor apart.
