While rewiring my FAA, I have located different variations and hope for some insight.

One version was once posted here by 'Old Red' showing his photographed schematic. It shows the Field on the generator to the F on the vr, AND another connection from the Field on the generator back to the ammeter. The lights come off of the Load terminal on the vr. Then a connection from generator 'A' to vr 'Bat'.

In contrast is the schematic host by Bob Melville
[http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=
4001561&a=30065733&p=60246204] that is quite different. Is the Bob M schematic for a cut-out application only and not a voltage regulator?

Is there a schematic around for a 6V pos-ground system with a vr?

Thank you.

Yeah - the schematic you refer to is for a cutout-equipped tractor!

You need the diagram for a voltage regulator.... punch below.

Thank you Bob for the rapid reply - I just sent you an email but this may do the trick. We will rewire it tonight and I'll let you know. Anything additional, please keep it coming.
